DESCRIPTION:Joanna Dudek\, PhD. is a psychologist\, psychotherapist\, and assistant professor at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw (Poland).She has dedicated her academic career to investigating the quality of life and psychological functioning of women with lipedema. Moreover\, she has been involved in research focused on applying interventions to improve psychological functioning and well-being of patients. Her goal is to increase awareness and knowledge about lipedema and psychosocial aspects of functioning with this fat disorder\, to improve patient care worldwide\, and reduce bias and misunderstanding of lipedema. \n\n\n\nJohanna Falck is a specialist nurse\, registered midwife\, and a PhD. She conducted her doctoral studies in Health and Care Sciences at the School of Health and Welfare\, Jönköping University. Johanna’s research concerns lipoedema. She has a special interest in researching experiences of health (including sexual health)\, quality of life\, social life\, and healthcare among women with lipoedema. \n\n\n\n.
