DESCRIPTION:Tim Hucho is a biochemist (not a medic)\, a professor at the University of Cologne and the University Hospital Cologne\, heading a basic science laboratory unraveling mechanisms of pain. Since 2020 they are working on sensory changes of women with lipedema and suggest a first way of how to measure such changes. Tim will give a brief introduction into mechanisms of pain and to sketch out their core results. This may open doors and help how one individually may find methods of how to modify one owns pain.
