Leaving a gift in your will

Some people choose to donate to Lipoedema UK by leaving a legacy gift. Legacy giving (also called planned giving) is a way to make a lasting impact after you die on charities that are important to you. There are tax benefits associated with charitable gifts. For more information, visit www.gov.uk/donating-to-charity/overview. To incorporate a legacy gift into your will, consult your solicitor.

Donating in memory of loved ones

If you would like to donate to Lipoedema UK in memory of a loved one, you can do this through Memory Giving, a secure online website that allows donors to incorporate tribute messages alongside their donations. Created in 2010 by fifth-generation funeral directors Julian and Matthew Walker, Memory Giving enables families to create and manage their own pages, and to share details about the funeral, and there’s space for friends and family to add messages and donations. The company is registered with the Charity Commission, so charities can claim back GiftAid. For more information, visit www.memorygiving.com and nominate Lipoedema UK as your chosen charity.
