Lipoedema UK is delighted to be partnering with the British Lymphology Society (BLS) for the #BLS2026 Conference, taking place from 5–7 October 2026 at Chester Racecourse.
As the UK’s leading scientific conference dedicated to lymphoedema, the event brings together healthcare professionals from across the UK to explore the latest evidence, research and best practice in lymphatic care.
Dedicated Lipoedema Programme
On Wednesday 7 October, the third day of the conference, delegates can attend a dedicated Lipoedema Programme, delivered in partnership with Lipoedema UK. This focused programme offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of lipoedema through expert presentations, the latest research and lived experience.
Sessions will include presentations from:
- Sharie Fetzer, Chair of Lipoedema UK.
- Professor Kristiana Gordon, Consultant in Clinical Genetics, lymphovascular medicine specialist and Patron of Lipoedema UK.
- Dr Nicole Wann Jie Lim, presenting findings from the recent GLP-1 survey, a collaborative project between St George’s, University of London and Lipoedema UK, exploring the experiences of people with lipoedema using GLP-1 medications.
- Libby Harrison, Lipoedema UK member and patient volunteer, who will share her personal journey of living with lipoedema, providing valuable insight into the patient experience.
